Sierra Flame Tahoe 45OL — Outdoor Ventless Gas Fireplace | Stainless Steel

Built entirely from stainless steel, the Sierra Flame Tahoe 45OL is an outdoor gas fireplace, ventless in design, made for covered patios, screened porches, gazebos and outdoor kitchens. Install it to highlight its trim look or set it up as a clean-face installation. A stainless steel cover, 6" glass shield, black glass and grey pebble kits, electronic ignition and a remote come standard. Choose natural gas or propane.

Can the Tahoe 45OL be used indoors?
No. It is approved for outdoor use only. Never install it in an enclosed space.

Can I run the propane model from a portable tank?
No. The manual requires propane units to be hard-piped to a permanent gas supply, not connected to an external propane bottle.

Does it need a flue or chimney?
No. It is a ventless outdoor design. Make sure the area has adequate ventilation and follow the manual and local codes.

Can it get rained on?
Install it where the firebox and controls will not be in direct rain, such as a covered patio, screened porch, gazebo or outside house wall.

Can I change the media?
Yes. Optional deluxe media sets are available as add-ons.

Is the Tahoe 45OL an outdoor natural gas or propane fireplace?
Both fuel types are available. Either way, it is built for hard-piped installation to a permanent gas supply and is not designed to run from a portable tank. Follow the owner's manual for gas supply, clearances and covered-area requirements.

Warranty Information

The manual lists a five-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, with free replacement parts in the first year for wearable parts such as gas valves, wiring, igniter and gaskets.
