Is professional installation required?
The system is engineered for simplified installation. A Firebrick Install Kit is recommended and sold separately. FireRock Adhesive Mortar (included free with your order) must be used to maintain warranty validity.

Do I need to buy anything else to finish the outside of the fireplace?
Yes. This fireplace ships as a bare structural masonry unit — it arrives ready to be veneered, not pre-finished. You'll need to source an exterior finish material locally (stone, stucco, brick, or tile) to match your home's aesthetic and complete the look. We recommend sourcing veneer locally rather than shipping it, since finish materials are heavy and freight costs add up quickly — a local mason or stone yard can typically match your style at a lower total cost.

Does this come with a chimney?
Yes, a chimney base and chimney block are built into the unit. If you'd like to extend the chimney height beyond what's included, additional chimney block or a metal chimney pipe option is available — this is a design preference based on your desired look, not a requirement to operate the fireplace. Note that the 42-inch model stands nearly 9 feet tall at minimum installed height — significantly taller than the 30 and 36-inch models — which is an important consideration for covered patio clearances and surround framing plans.

FireRock will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective components or refund the purchase price if a replacement is not reasonably available.
