FAQ: Do I need a 240V outlet for full heat output?
Yes, for full heat output. This fireplace ships ready to plug into a standard 120V household outlet, but full heat output requires hardwiring to a dedicated 240V circuit by a licensed electrician.
On a standard 120V outlet: 1,500W — half the rated heating power.
Hardwired to 240V: Up to 3,000W — full rated heating power.
Plugging into a 120V outlet is not a defect — the flame and heater will run normally, but this model will not reach full-capacity heat output until it's hardwired to 240V. If maximum heat output matters for your space, plan for a 240V hardwire connection during installation.
